01.

In brief

Lindley has worked in national news, content creation, information ethics and education for 35 years.

He has interviewed over 50,000 people involved in world-changing events, breaking news and business. As the Director of Greenscreen, he and his associate team created the UK's earliest viral videos for business, have produced more than 5 thousand films watched by governments, global influencers and millions of people worldwide. They've also won a long list of top PR, marketing and media awards for clients since 2005.

02. The Future of Truth

Lindley's new book The Future of Truth (and How to Get There) explains misinformation, disinformation, why we've fallen so hard for them both, and how every one of us can fight back.

It's all so very human. We receive huge amounts of information  packed into the stories that we see, hear and read. They change our minds. They've divided us and made us behave differently. And they've got us into so much trouble.

The Future of Truth (and How to Get There) unmasks the tell-tale signs that manipulation has left behind, building up an essential toolkit to help us all to stop, step back from and sidestep false information and fake news wherever our timelines take us.

Lindley founded Greenscreen to be a place where organisations in the news could speak with more clarity and authenticity, using content and stronger media relationships to better inform customers and the wider world.

Communications with information ethics at its heart.

Since then, Lindley and the team have helped to spread the word on critical issues for consumers and the wider world, winning clients awards and acolades, helping them to keep audiences informed, and earning a reputation for generating huge engagement - tailored to every project - even when budgets are tight. They are also responsible for some of the UK's most respected business webinars on AI, banking, insurance, customer experience and media.

The longer story

Lindley was a BBC Senior Journalist, a consumer, technology and finance correspondent for British national news channels including the BBC, ITN and Sky News. He spent more than 15 years in broadcasting, as a national reporter and news reader, producer and British commercial radio's most successful Head of News in the late 1990s.

Lindley came from a very working class background, working in construction from a young age and breaking out to discover an academic life as a theoretical physicist. He followed up a maths and physics degree with a Master of Philosophy in theoretical physics research, modelling materials that later found their way into modern storage devices including mobile phones. Later, he graduated with distinction in journalism at the University of Cardiff, and in marketing and advertising communications at the University of Westminster in London.

Lindley has been the Founder and Cheerleader-in-Chief of Greenscreen since 2005, combining award-winning factual films and advertising with expert moderation, training and events coverage.
